Description
The JEM77WDP is a JEM series solid body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez in late 2016. It is a signature model of American guitarist Steve Vai. It is a made in Indonesia as part of the mid-tier Premium line.
The JEM77WDP is commonly referred to as the “JEM Woody” due to it’s stained finish and striking poplar burl veneer pickguard and matching headstock.
The JEM77WDP features a rosewood top on a mahogany body bolted to a maple and walnut Wizard neck with a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard with Tree of Life vine inlays. Components include an Edge Zero II double locking tremolo bridge with a locking nut, DiMarzio Dark Matter 2 pickups with a pair of humbuckers with decorative covers flanking a single-coil and wooden knobs.
