Description
The RG652LWFX is an RG series solid body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez in 2017. It was produced in Japan by Fujigen part of the upscale Prestige line.
The RG652LWFX features a basswood body with a limba wood top bolted to a maple and walnut Super Wizard HP neck with a 24-fret marbled rosewood fingerboard with binding and white dot position markers. Components include dual DiMarzio humbucking pickups, a Gibraltar Standard II fixed bridge, a Graph Tech TUSQ XL nut, and Gotoh locking tuning machines.
The RG752LWFX is a similar seven-string model. Several other similar six-string hard-tail models were also produced including the RG652FX (no exotic top), the RG652KFX (Australian blackwood top), the RG652AHMFX (ash body and maple fretboard) and the RG652MPBFX (poplar burl top and maple fretboard). The RG652LWFXL is a left-handed version.
